KENYA: SAFARI DONE RIGHT

There is nothing in the world like being in wild Kenya, where elephants walk beneath vast skies and the land feels timeless. This journey is more than a photo safari. It’s a reconnection to the rhythm of nature, to your creative spirit, and to the ancestral soil where humanity began.

Join us for a 11-night experience through two of Kenya’s most iconic regions: the Mara Conservancies and Amboseli, guided by local experts and designed to help you slow down, see more, and come home with images and memories that will stay with you forever.

You Don’t Have to Be a Photographer to Come

This trip is designed for photographers of all levels from professionals with traditional cameras to beginners with iPhones, and is also open to anyone who simply wants to experience the wild in an intentional, meaningful way. Whether you’re behind a lens or simply along for the ride, you’ll find yourself immersed in something much deeper than a vacation. This is travel that changes you.

Where We’re Going

Amboseli National Park and Conservancy
We begin in Amboseli National Park with a four-night stay at Ol Tukai Lodge, set in a prime central location near the park’s active waterholes. Known for its large elephant herds and iconic views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Ol Tukai pairs exceptional wildlife access with beautifully maintained grounds, frequent monkey sightings, excellent food, and the polished, attentive service you’d expect from a top-tier lodge.

Maasai Mara Conservancies
From there, we take a private charter to the Mara, where the landscape shifts to rolling plains and predator-rich terrain. We spend three nights at Porini Lion Camp in the Mara South Olare Motorogi Conservancy, known for exceptional big cat sightings and uncrowded game drives. Here, the experience is as authentic as it gets. The camp is run exclusively by the Maasai, the river runs right alongside camp, and at night you may hear hippos grazing nearby or wildlife moving quietly through the area. We place a strong emphasis on working with the very best guides, and at Porini this makes all the difference, with highly skilled Maasai guides whose deep knowledge of the land consistently leads to outstanding sightings. We then continue by jeep to the quieter Ol Kinyei Conservancy for a final three nights, where fewer vehicles, wide open space, and off-road access create a more private and unhurried experience, complemented by the comfort, seclusion, and understated luxury of your own cottage.

What You’ll See and What You’ll Feel

You’ll photograph lions, leopards, giraffes, zebra, wildebeests, elephants, cheetahs, and more, with plenty of time and space to observe them in quiet, respectful ways. Bird lovers will encounter a dazzling range of species, from vibrant rollers to elegant cranes and flocks of flamingos.

But what you’ll feel? That’s harder to describe.

There’s an energy in this land ancient, quiet, and deeply familiar. To walk in Kenya is to walk in the cradle of humanity, where all of our ancestors once lived. The presence of the Maasai, still living in nomadic harmony with the land, brings perspective on how the world once was, and still is, if we listen. To witness it firsthand is to be moved in a way no documentary or travel show can offer. It’s not entertainment. It’s remembrance. It’s not just travel. It’s coming home.
