Kenya Photography Safari 2026: Maasai Mara & Amboseli

  • Bradley Gallery and Photographic Center 566 Lighthouse Ave. Pacific Grove, CA 93950 USA (map)

Return to the Wild.
Return to Yourself.

There is nothing in the world like being in wild Kenya — where elephants walk beneath vast skies and the land feels timeless. This journey is more than a photo safari. It’s a reconnection — to the rhythm of nature, to your creative spirit, and to the ancestral soil where humanity began.

Kenya Safari Led by acclaimed wildlife photographer Jason Bradley

Join us for a 10-night experience through two of Kenya’s most iconic regions: the Mara Conservancies and Amboseli, guided by local experts and designed to help you slow down, see more, and come home with images — and memories — that will stay with you forever.

You Don’t Have to Be a Photographer to Come

This trip is designed for photographers of all levels — from professionals to beginners — and is also open to anyone who simply wants to experience the wild in an intentional, meaningful way. Whether you’re behind a lens or simply along for the ride, you’ll find yourself immersed in something much deeper than a vacation. This is travel that changes you.

Where We’re Going

Maasai Mara Conservancies
We begin in the protected Mara North and Naboisho Conservancies, where we split our stay between the inviting Karen Blixen Camp and the elegant Asilia Naboisho Camp. These exclusive conservancies offer a peaceful, low-vehicle environment and access to incredible wildlife including lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and much more.

Amboseli National Park & Conservancy
Next, we travel south to Tortilis Camp, part of the renowned Elewana Collection. Located on the edge of Amboseli National Park with direct access to a private conservancy, Tortilis offers stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro and daily encounters with Amboseli’s legendary elephant herds.

What You’ll See — and What You’ll Feel

You’ll photograph lions, leopards, giraffes, zebra, wildebeests, elephants, cheetahs, and more — with plenty of time and space to observe them in quiet, respectful ways. Bird lovers will encounter a dazzling range of species, from vibrant rollers to elegant cranes and flocks of flamingos.

But what you’ll feel? That’s harder to describe.

There’s an energy in this land — ancient, quiet, deeply familiar. To walk in Kenya is to walk in the cradle of humanity, where all of our ancestors once lived. The presence of the Maasai, still living in nomadic harmony with the land, brings perspective on how the world once was — and still is, if we listen. To witness it firsthand is to be moved in a way no documentary or travel show can offer. It’s not entertainment. It’s remembrance. It’s not just travel. It’s coming home.
