For nearly three decades, Jason Bradley has photographed California’s Pacific edge, from Monterey Bay’s nutrient-rich waters to the cliffs, kelp forests, shifting shorelines, and wildlife that define life along the coast.
Working above and beneath the surface, Bradley documents breaching humpback whales, suspended sea lions, coastal storms, tidal textures, and the quiet geometry of shoreline landscapes.
These photographs reflect years of immersion along California’s living coastline.
A Living Coastline in Motion
These photographs are fragments of time gathered along California’s Pacific edge, shaped by changing weather, moving water, wildlife encounters, and years spent immersed in the rhythms of the coast.
Together, they form a portrait of a living coastline constantly in motion, where ocean, land, light, and life remain deeply interconnected.
