SEASCAPES OF MONTEREY ’20

JOIN US FOR THIS SPECIAL ALL INCLUSIVE WORKSHOP PHOTOGRAPHING THE STUNNING SHORELINES AND LIFE OF MONTEREY AND NORTHERN BIG SUR IN THE NEW BRADLEY GALLERY. THE ROCKY SHORES OF THE MONTEREY PENINSULA ARE SOME OF THE MOST SCENIC IN THE WORLD. WE’LL STUDY TECHNIQUES IN LONG EXPOSURES, WORKING WITH NEUTRAL DENSITY FILTERS, COMPOSITION, LIGHTING, AND POST PRODUCTION IN LIGHTROOM. THIS WORKSHOP IS LIMITED TO ONLY 12 PARTICIPANTS. TRIP DETAILS:
The nearest regional airport is in Monterey and a 10-minute drive to the Bradley Gallery. Nearest international airports are San Jose (a bit closer than SF) and San Francisco International. San Jose is about 1.25-hour drive and SF is about 1.75-hour drive depending on traffic conditions.
All workshop discussion and slideshows will be held at the Bradley Gallery – see below map for location details
Accommodations and group rates are set with the Pacific Gardens Inn in Pacific Grove, California, one block from Asilomar state beach.
Orientation begins at 6:00 PM PST on Wednesday, April 1st, 2020.
The workshop will end on Sunday, April 5th at 3:00 PM PST.
We will provide a continental breakfast each morning before heading out into the field.
We will provide all lunches and a group dinner.
We will be in the field for sunrises and sunsets.
