It’s done! We’ve had our grand opening on July 14th. In short, I was overwhelmed. I’m proud to say that during the ribbon cutting, city councilman Rudy Fischer stated it was one of the biggest openings he’s ever seen in Pacific Grove. We had a huge turnout.
I want to thank everyone that attended. I appreciate you being there, and I appreciate your support more than you know. I’m excited about the opening, but I’m most excited about what this gallery, this print lab, this workshop center, and this place for the photographic community is going to become. And I know it wouldn’t become much without the support of all of you–my friends and family.
Thank you also to those who couldn’t make it, but sent along with your good wishes and congratulations. Your support is just as meaningful!
And of course, the opening wouldn’t be what it was without the help of some big important people. Thank you Jon McCormack and Joe Platko for your wonderful artwork and your willingness to share that work on my gallery walls, and thank you for your support and friendship over the years. Love you guys!! Thank you also to Alicia Alicia Rebecca Sanoian , Paula Kalajian , Rachael Sammet , and everyone else that helped with the party planning. You guys are wonderful. And last but far from least, thank you to Ken Rockefeller (a.k.a. The Miracle Worker) who helped shape the way this whole gallery looks and feels, and then to punctuate it with some perfect food. Wow! Ken… You complete me!
